Procurement & Contract Management

The Procurement and Contract Management Division is responsible for the compliance and facilitation of all the City’s procurement processes. Our goal is to promote good financial stewardship by ensuring that the best value and quality of products and services are procured by the City for its citizens and community.   

The Division provides services for the City’s complete competitive procurement processes in compliance with the Federal Legislation, Texas Local and Government Codes, and the Texas Ethics Commission.

Bid Opportunities – Opportunities can be found on City of Brownsville Bonfire site as well as Legal Postings in the Brownsville Herald. 

Bonfire Interactive – The City of Brownsville has partnered with Bonfire Interactive, a web-based vendor registration, and bid solicitation database.  Bonfire Interactive provides vendors with convenient online access to bid information for the City of Brownsville. 

Interested vendors, can access the registration site Texas Purchasing Group using the Vendor Registration Link, select New Registration to create your free Bonfire account. Registering as a Vendor allows you access to view, download, and submit bids.
